My name is Karin Pinder and my mission is to spread beauty and joy throughout the land with my countryside paintings, pastel drawings and quirky lino prints!   As well as selling my original paintings and drawings, I create fine art prints and cards showcasing these works.  My cards are perfect to send to friends and family to cheer up their day or to frame on their own.  I also love creating countryside scenes from lino printing.  My lino printed greeting cards are very popular and I enjoy making them.

I've lived in the small village of Slaidburn for the past 17 years.  I'm originally from Brisbane, Australia and have fallen in love with the beautiful English countryside and it's unique wildlife and characters!  I have been painting and creating for as long as I can remember, but in 2020 decided to launch my little art studio. 

 

There is something unique and special about printmaking, drawing and painting!  Watching a blank piece of paper or canvas turn into something that evokes emotion or allows you to be transported to the countryside, brings me so much pleasure.   I love learning new techniques and mediums...There is still so much for me to learn and I love that!  It keeps it interesting and new and I can't wait to show you more new pieces shortly.
